Under A.R.S. § 12-1809, a person may file a petition for an injunction prohibiting harassment. An injunction against harassment is a civil order that can be used to prevent someone from committing a number of acts towards you that cause you to be seriously alarmed, annoyed, or harassed. An injunction against harassment can also be used to prevent defamation, unlawful picketing, unlawful assemblies, concerted interference with business, and taking part in a secondary boycott. Injunctions against harassment stay in effect for one year from the day the abuser is served. Learn more about fighting an injunction against harassment here or contact us today for a consultation.
