Probation Violation in Arizona
In Arizona, a probation violation can quickly become a serious offense. Upon the discovery of a violation, Rule 27.8 of the Arizona Rules of Criminal Procedure allows the probation department to petition to the court to revoke the Defendant’s probation. As such, a person who fails to adhere to the terms of court ordered probation may be punished with jail or prison.
